“I started training with Audrey as a 58-year-old woman in January 2015 to improve my balance after a series of falls. She taught me the importance of building my core strength as we worked on building my balance. Over the years during our twice weekly sessions Audrey has helped me to build upper and lower body strength, improve balance and core muscle strength and to even rehab a frozen shoulder. Audrey has helped me understand the importance of keeping my body in balance as we continue to build muscle strength and definition. What I appreciate most about Audrey’s training is that she individualizes my workouts according to my needs. Audrey starts every session by asking about how I feel and will tailor the workouts according to how I am feeling and what I might need. Audrey is caring, respectful and personable. I began training with Audrey in 2020. I came to her with back pain and a weak core (well … weak body), without an understanding of how the two related. I wanted to improve my muscle tone and generally become more fit.
Mission accomplished! Audrey has shown me how to strengthen my core and strengthen my back. I’ve had such improvement in my back pain, strength, and endurance since we started; there are many exercises I can perform now that I would not have dared to try when we first started.
Audrey is very attentive – she always ensures that my technique and form are correct to prevent injuries and maximize the effectiveness of each exercise. Each time we work together, she has a session plan developed, but pivots easily around my body’s functioning that day. She knows the human body and explains the purpose and science behind the exercises that she suggests … fine-tuned just for me and my body. Audrey is an expert on nutrition as well. She has provided nutritional advice for helping me to reach my weight and muscle goals. There’s nothing like having someone as committed and knowledgeable as Audrey guiding my personal journey to fitness and wellness in general. Also, Audrey’s hours are flexible as she has been able to work around my ever-changing schedule.
Audrey has a passion for fitness and wellness, and maintains a very relaxing and calm personal manner. She has a voice of reason, understanding, and wisdom … not just as it pertains to fitness, but life, in general. I look forward to our workouts – Audrey is amazing!
